A fast growing stealth mode startup looking to grow into a multi million pound company within the next five years are looking to employ a sales director to head up the sales team, an innovative business with an area that is unique in the market and the first in its area.
what they are looking for:
- Develop and implement sales strategy for our product lines
- Design, recruit and develop the sales function to deliver objectives
- Act as a commercial evangelist for our products and services
- Sales leadership: charisma and drive to lead and inspire people to be proud to sell and represent our brand with customers
- Commercial strength: a proven commercial operator who’s comfortable in dynamic, changing environments, relishes challenge and is motivated by achievement.
- Communication: A strong communicator comfortable from board level down who interprets and clearly articulates a company’s vision and is compelling, credible and effective at all levels.
- Have at least 10 years of commercial sales experience in technology, SaaS B2B field sales or key account management and at least 5 years of managing a sales function.
- Have strong structured sales experience with top tier sales operations and show evidence of performance and progression
- Be able to provide evidence of entrepreneurial experiences e.g. self-directed working, ownership and ambition, organisation and project management skills, you’ll need these to balance the fast moving and fluid demands of working in a startup environment.
- Show you have the confidence to operate independently but the humility to involve stakeholders and test your approach openly.
