My client is currently recruiting for a Consultant to deliver in both presales, as well as a product marketing position... how does that work I hear you ask?

As an innovative SaaS platform provider, my client continues to experience fantastic growth. Due to this expansion, they are looking for someone that can support the sales team through core presales activity. The candidate will be involved in meeting with customers across both technical and commercial areas of the business in order to help shape, define and create solutions for the individual customer base. You'll use the detail gathered from customers conversations to create a tailored offering which you'll support the sales team in presenting.
As the company are a startup, you will then take the tailored offering and begin to create 'vertical truths' based on user cases. What works for the sector? What do they need in order to get the maximum benefit of the product?
You'll move into the product marketing area of the position once you have this information. You'll take the feedback from various market segments, specify what works and create an approach specific to the sector, helping the marketing team speak directly to the sector using language and content that is specific, relevant and targeted accurately.
The right kind of candidate will have experience working in a presales, consultancy or product marketing position for a saas startup business. Understanding either core banking, financial services or the ERP space is prefered.
