What do we collect and use personal information for?
We collect this information in order to:
- keep a database of applicants who would like to take part in our online student surveys
- keep you informed of placements and recruitment opportunities
- provide you with recruitment services
- anticipate any problems with services supplied to you
We will collect and process personal information about you for these purposes (including your name, email address, postal address and telephone number, along with details of your current and previous employment, education and training). We may also collect sensitive data relating to you including medical details and details of race and ethnic origin. We may receive this information through this site or your CV. This information will only be used for the purposes set out above.
If you have chosen to be kept informed of future Ringham Hunter news then we will also use the information we collect from you to send you this information. We will not however use any sensitive personal information for this purpose.
Ringham Hunter may use a third party data processor or processors to process the information set out above on its behalf. Where it does so, that information will be made available to such data processor(s) purely for the purposes of processing that information on behalf of Ringham Hunter in accordance with Ringham Hunter's instructions and not for any other purpose.
Transferring your personal information outside the European Economic Area
Also, where recruitment opportunities are situated overseas the information you provide to us may need be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EEA. If we transfer your information outside of the EEA in this way, we will obtain your consent to this and take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.
We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to the Ringham Hunter site. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in promoting effective use of the Ringham Hunter site. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to the Ringham Hunter Site with information relating to the number of users linking to the Ringham Hunter Site from their sites. Keeping our records accurate
Records of recruitment applications are held on our file for a period of 12 months unless you have agreed to Ringham Hunter retaining your record on file for a longer period.

We have implemented technology and policies to safeguard your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use and will continue to update these measures as new technology becomes available.
Third party sites
We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using links from the Ringham Hunter site and recommend that you check the policy of each site you visit.
